boxing day with ning & apoo

It is a fine winter day. Bright rays of morning sun shine from out the clear blue sky, warms the earth generously. Gone the cold breeze that stings your cheeks, bites your finger, brings tears to your eyes and makes you sneeze.
Boxing day in Preston is very relaxing. Discount sales and deals are all over the shops along the main street, but I hardly see anyone queuing, rushing and grabbing for the best yet cheapest clothes, shoes, handbags and so on. There is no need to worry that you might be run down by massive crowds. No need to rush either as everyone seems to walk at their leisure pace, strolling along the street with family and friends.
It is the last Boxing day I spend with Ning and Apoo and it is as perfect as I want it to be.

It's Sunday. Blue sky was trying to sneak through and it was holding firm all day.
After long hours of revision, Ning and I decided to go out for a breath of fresh air. We ended up grabbing dark cherry mocha and sinfully indulging the taste of blueberry cheesecake in Starbucks. Yummy!

She finally decided to go back home after graduation. Bless her.
What about me? Well, to be honest, I'd rather not think about it and put the decision-making on hold, at least for the time being. So, don't ask me. Ask Lulu.

Off to London for passport renewal. Meet up with Ejan which will be very super-exciting! Ngerepak and jadi sakalo like nobody's watching.
Getting up at 5.30 am to get there. Madness. The weather forecast in the news said that it would be snowing tomorrow and the train service might be cancelled. Well, I'm not slightest bit convinced by the news because the weather in UK is never predictable. Expecting London basked in winter sunshine, I'm definitely going to have so much fun tomorrow!

A gloomy winter.
With a cup of hot coffee, I tried to refocus my tired eyes to read the revision notes. The ringing in my ears seemed to be louder than ever. My mind wandered, drifted into blank space and eventually into nothingness. The bitter truth crept back, went straight to the wounded heart. And it started to bleed again.
Drowning in uncertainty, I felt crippled. Restless. Vulnerable. I felt dry up, emotionally.
And I hate feeling like this.

Sis: The exam is so susah. I think I'm going to spend my 1 month holiday to do revision for resit.
I : Well, at least you do something beneficial; rather than sitting down, watching TVs and getting fatter. Haha!
Sis: Ceh! Eh, do you think I can be a model?
I : Gila lah. Hahaha. Not in a million years would I ever dream of having a model sister.
Sis: Well, not that kind of model wearing fancy dresses which only millionaires can buy. I mean, a hand model.
I : Hmm, for Fair & Lovely advertisement kah?
Sis: Hahaha! Ok lah, I have to go now. Mok keluar makan ngan kawan. Wish me luck and all the best for your revision too!
